SQE 2 Exemption Guidance

Eligibility SQE 2 Exemption Requirements:

• Two years of experience from your home country with your bar license number and details.
• Two references from legal professionals only from your home country  (all references must be from legal professionals only).
• Subject matter expertise, for example: Criminal Law, Property Law, or Business Law.
• Need to meet the SRA character and suitability requirements

SRA Application Fee:

 The application fee is £265. 

The Solicitors Regulation Authority (SRA) aims to notify applicants of their SQE2 exemption decision within 180 days of receiving their application.
